About My Family
Kristi and I started a compassion ministry for kids in foster care in 2017. Before I did this, I was a lead pastor in Mobridge, S.D. I have a heart for Jesus and seeing sustainable kingdom work for vulnerable people. Kristi and I have been married since July 14, 2007, and have three children. I have worked or volunteered in ministry since 2004.
I graduated from Dickinson State University in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, during which time I volunteered with Crew, a campus ministry. After graduation, I gained experience as an associate pastor and earned a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Liberty University. My family and I moved to Belle Fourche in 2016 to serve Connection Church.
I enjoy snorkeling, fishing and spearfishing with my family.

About My Church Plant
God has led Kristi and me to become North American Rural Missionaries, focused on the missional task. We are piloting an Adopt Rural Communities (ARC) initiative that empowers local sending churches to adopt rural communities around them. Our first objective is to work with our sending church to adopt Newell, S.D, a rural community around Belle Fourche. We are working with NAMB’s director of the Dakotas to create a cohort of sending churches and rural missions in South Dakota and North Dakota to advance the gospel. We are developing training, tools, mentorship and community empowerment to empower sending churches to adopt rural areas. As God moves, we hope to create a network of sending churches and missionaries focused on rural areas to advance the kingdom to see the joy in being called to small places for the big gospel.
NAMB Church Planting
Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.
