About My Family
My name is Daniel Carter, and my family and I are honored that you desire to partner with us to reach the San Diego military population for Christ. My wife, Rachelle, and I have been married since 2017. We have two beautiful children. Ruby is 3 years old, and Hudson is 1.
God has given my wife and me hearts burdened to reach the military community for Christ. I served in the Marine Corps Reserve for five years and was able to see the great need for the gospel firsthand. From 2016–2019, my wife and I served as missionary staff with Cru Military in Camp Pendleton, Calif., where our burden only grew to see the military community encountered, equipped and empowered with the gospel through the local church.
I started Pillar Church in 2020, and it has since continued to reach the military community. We are excited for the future!

About My Church Plant
I am leading a church plant to reach the military community for Christ in San Diego. We are be the tenth church plant in the Praetorian Project, which specifically plants churches outside military installations (praetorianproject.org).
Our church vision is simple— to know Jesus and make Him known—yet our scope is great, like our God! We desire to plant a church that multiplies in planting other churches throughout San Diego, the nation and even the world.
