About My Family
My name is Daniel Helms. I am married to Audrey Helms, and we have four beautiful children together. Olivia is 11, Nathaniel is 8, Ezekiel is 6, and Zoey is 3.
About My Church Plant
We are planting a church in Palatka, Fla. I grew up in Palatka but moved away when I was in my early 20s. Around 15 years later, God called me back to Palatka to plant The Branch Community Church. The name of our church is a reference to John 15. Our prayer and desire is to simply be a branch that is completely dependent upon being attached to the True Vine, Jesus Christ.
Before planting, I was the singles pastor at First Baptist Church of Plant City. First Baptist Church (FBC) of Plant City became our Sending Church and a key partner in our efforts in Palatka. We are very grateful for FBC Plant City.
We officially launched the church on January 9, 2022. We just celebrated our one-year anniversary. It has been an amazing year to watch God save some, grow many and display His kindness to us.
