About My Family

I am originally from Middletown, Ohio, and have served in ministry on a full-time basis for nearly 10 years. I joined the U.S. Army Reserve in 2002 while I was in college.

I graduated with a teaching degree from Wright State University in 2005. In 2005, I also traveled to Iraq for a one-year tour of duty.

In 2005, I married the love of my life, Renee. We have three children—Reece, Dawson and Rosie.

About My Church Plant

We planted Cedar City Church (CCC) in 2019 with a core team of 35. We are located in the most diverse and troubled part of our city. Our neighborhood is made up of (mostly) visibly broken people. We serve the homeless, fatherless, addicted, disabled and formerly incarcerated.

Here's a challenge. Our church is currently predominately made up of affluent members. We all have a heart for our neighbors and desire to give them the gospel in real and tangible ways. We pray God uses us to bring light into a dark place. We trust He will for His glory!

NAMB Church Planting

Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.

Pray

Pray for the planter’s family as they work together in ministry. Pray the church will be established and will faithfully work to plant in other communities, too. Pray the Lord brings leaders who can help within the church. Pray for stamina and longevity for ministry amidst attacks from the enemy.
