About My Family
I was born in Pimentel, Dominican Republic. My parents, Osiris Medina and Amparo Brens, taught me Christian moral and spiritual principles. I have two brothers, Aneudy and José.
While growing up, my parents taught me about our Savior Jesus. I knew of His love and of His death on the cross to forgive us of our sins. I gave my life to the Lord when I was just a child of about 10 years old. Around 1970 at the age of 17, I left my hometown. That's how I got to Santiago.
God gave me three special gifts. First of all, a wonderful wife, Ana R. Medina. With her I have two beautiful daughters, Rose Melody and Rose Armony. Both are married to Christians, and both have four children. Blessed God!

About My Church Plant
I worked as an associate pastor for some time. Then I was the pastor of a small church in a field. After a while, we decided to move to the United States where I was pastor of the Hispanic ministry of the First Baptist Church, which we registered under the name Primicias de Cristo. Now I serve as pastor of the Spanish ministry of New Hope Baptist Church in the city of Zephyrhills, Fla.
NAMB Church Planting
Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.
