About My Family

Catarina, my wife, and I share similar journeys. First, we both grew up in Southern California and attended rival high schools. Then we both went to the University of California Berkeley where we met Jesus and each other. Finally, we are both passionate about seeing people give their lives over to Christ and walk with Him.

I love biking around to explore the University of Chicago campus and its surroundings. Catarina loves taking our daughter to the many parks in Chicago.

About My Church Plant

I am passionate about reaching 18–24 year olds. They are the most lost population segment in the United States, particularly on college campuses. This can be the the most strategic mission field for Christian leaders to engage in kingdom expansion. College years are the time in life when people are the most open to new ideas and different worldviews.

College is a place where it’s easier for people to experience an Acts 2 life, devoting themselves to the Word, prayer, fellowship and the breaking of bread, not just once a week but daily in each other’s homes. College years are a time when that can happen almost naturally. If you reach college students, you reach the next generation of leaders.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.

Pray

Pray for the planter’s family as they work together in ministry. Pray the church will be established and will faithfully work to plant in other communities, too. Pray the Lord brings leaders who can help within the church. Pray for stamina and longevity for ministry amidst attacks from the enemy.
