About My Family

I came to faith at Clemson University through Campus Outreach, where God stirred in me a desire to be sent out of the Southeast to places where the gospel is less prevalent. In fall 2021, I interned in Butler, Pa., where I met my future wife, Kaycee.

While finishing my degree, I began discerning a call to Pittsburgh and connected with Pastor Reginald Johnson of Christ Central Church. I moved into the Johnsons’ home in November 2022 and married Kaycee in April 2023. I now serve as a pastoral intern and creative lead at Christ Central.

Kaycee is an urban missionary with Urban Impact, where she has worked for three years, mentoring inner-city students in Pittsburgh’s Northside. Through teaching photography and videography, she builds deep relationships and shares the hope of the gospel.

About My Church Plant

As church planting team members at Christ Central Church, I serve as a pastoral intern and Kaycee leads teen discipleship and worship. I have been being formally trained in pastoral care, teaching, preaching, equipping the saints and leading a care group. A key aspect of our ministry is proximity; We live within walking distance of the church to better serve and care for our neighbors. Through building intentional relationships in our community, doors have opened to share the gospel and reduce skepticism toward the church.

In her role at Urban Impact, Kaycee builds strong connections with students and families, discipling them and helping them get rooted in the local church—often through Christ Central itself.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.
