About My Family
By God’s grace, I became a Christian at a young age. However, it wasn’t until my junior year of high school that my religion became a relationship with God. During my first week on campus at Clemson University, I met a guy who worked full time for a college ministry called Campus Outreach (CO). My involvement with CO added to my view of the Christian life, and it excited me to share my faith and pour into other students. I began to see a greater purpose that God calls us to; I have received the greatest gift of all time in Jesus Christ, so why would I keep it to myself?
Two weeks after graduating, Charis and I got married in our hometown of Myrtle Beach, S.C. She works as a nurse and seeks to share the love of Christ with her patients daily. We both love being active, going to the beach and spending time with family and friends.

About My Ministry
Our involvement with CO took us on a vision trip to San Diego in 2021 where we experienced ministry in a totally new context. Around the time I felt affirmation to begin my working career in vocational ministry, G’Joe Joseph reached out explaining his desire to reach college students at local campuses. G’Joe planted Center City Church in the San Diego neighborhood of La Mesa in fall of 2021 after seeing a need for more churches on the West Coast.
God has made it abundantly clear to Charis and me that He wants us to move to San Diego to help more students know Jesus. College students make up a tiny percentage of the world’s population, but in many ways they are the most powerful slice of humanity on earth as they will be the leaders in every facet of society. Reaching the campus today is vital to reaching the world tomorrow.
