About My Family
My name is DeAndre Florence. I am 40 years old. I have been married to April (30 years old) for 10 years, and we have three kids (Jace (8), Tucker (6), Nyla (2) and one on the way. We live in Melbourne, Ky. We pretty much have lived in Kentucky our whole lives.
I am currently a middle-school teacher. My wife and I are the youth leaders at Grant’s Lick Baptist Church. Even before we were married, the Lord placed in both our hearts the desire to serve the younger generation in a way that will give Him the glory, and it starts with our own children.
For more than 20 years (for me) and 15 years (for April), the Lord has allowed us to be involved in various forms of ministry activities. All of it has been a blessing, and now we are entering into a new season of ministry.

About My Ministry
Our goal is to teach each player biblical principles and in each of their respective sport/activity. In hopes that all that are involved, we will build a solid foundation in Jesus Christ. We are not trying to create the next sports star, but being obedient to God by sharing the gospel and doing it through sports.
The ministry will be an avenue of spreading the gospel through player development, games (leagues), small groups and partnering with other churches and organizations. We will provide Bibles and other resources to participants and their family. We will also attempt to partner with local schools and other organizations so we can be at multiple locations.
