About My Family

A man from Maine and a woman from upstate New York met in a Christian School in Maryland. While dating, Kaylee and I had many conversations about serving the Lord and what that would look like if we were to get married. While engaged, we wasted no time in our ministry together in the youth group.

After getting married in 2006, we felt the call to full-time missions in China. We spent a total of eight years in the field and experienced many trials and much fruit. Now we are back here in the States and feel again the call to serve Him full-time in a missions setting, but in the city of Frederick.

Kaylee, our 11-year-old son, Elias, and I love serving the Lord and spending our time outside hiking, gardening, and playing sports.

About My Church Plant

After our family spent many years on the mission field, which included full-time discipleship, evangelism, lots of traveling, prayer meetings, and the start-up of a Bible school to train the local people how to handle the Word of God, we asked ourselves, “Why do they treat the United States so differently?”

So we decided to transfer the missions training that we received to what we call home. Now, home is Frederick, Maryland, where our vision is to minister without boundaries to all those in need. The ministries of discipleship and presence are important in the development of a faith community, but the ministry of truth through the Word of God is also important in equipping the mind and soul.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.

Pray

Pray for the planter’s family as they work together in ministry. Pray the church will be established and will faithfully work to plant in other communities, too. Pray the Lord will bring leaders who can help within the church. Pray for stamina and longevity for ministry amidst attacks from the enemy. Pray for our yearly calendar. We plan to reach the community through different events. Pray the church will have a new location in September. Pray for personal and church supporters. Pray for music and that a Sunday School team will grow.
