About My Family

My wife, Kandis, and I met at Mississippi College and got married in 2022. We have been living, ministering and working in the New Orleans area ever since.

We currently live in Meraux, La., with our labradoodle, Roux. In addition to church work, I am currently pursuing an M.Div. in Biblical Languages, meaning I get the joy of engaging with both ministry and the Word regularly!

Kandis and I love board games, hosting people and investing in the community God has called us to in New Orleans East. We feel super blessed to get to live and minister to the incredible people of New Orleans!

About My Church Plant

The Church in Michoud is a church plant launched in 2022 by three families who are passionate about making disciples of Jesus. Michoud is a neighborhood in New Orleans east of about 12,000 people with more than its fair share of cultural and social issues, but its greatest problem is a lack of gospel proclamation.

The Church in Michoud is one of the only churches bringing the gospel to Michoud, and transportation issues keep a lot of Michoud’s residents from making it to another church in a different part of the city. We believe that despite all the barriers to the gospel, God cares for Michoud and is working in the hearts of its people—we want to be part of that work.

The Church in Michoud is a family of disciples led by God to see Michoud transformed by the gospel.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.

Pray

Pray for spiritual support as we both transition into new, less stable jobs. Pray that the Lord would lead us to new supporters to partner with us in our ministry. Pray that the Lord would provide full funding for Dillon’s ministry position. Pray for our family as we work together in ministry. Pray the church will be established and will faithfully work to plant in other communities, too. Pray the Lord brings leaders and workers who can help within the church. Pray for stamina and longevity for ministry amidst attacks from the enemy.
