About My Family
Denise and I were married on June 11, 2005. We are blessed to have three children: Daniel (9), Dallas (8) and Delaney (6). Our family is very active and enjoys being together.
I love hunting, fishing and spending time with friends. Denise was a volleyball coach for many years and enjoys playing, if she gets the chance, and reading. Daniel loves Scooby-Doo and Titanic, and he can be found drawing whenever he has free time. Dallas loves to play outside, get dirty and ride his bike. Delaney loves playing with her baby dolls and gymnastics.
We are currently living in Laveen and are building relationships in the community as we prepare to launch Village Hope Church.

About My Church Plant
While serving as the youth pastor of our local church, God began working on my heart about church planting. Denise was reluctant at first, but God used her time at high-school camp during the summer of 2017 to work on her heart. Once we both fully surrendered, God began opening doors and working on our hearts about the need for the gospel in Laveen, Ariz.
Laveen has a population of 70,000 and only two evangelical churches. Only 14% of the people claim any evangelical religious affiliation, and more than 60% claim no religion at all. The area is diverse, including 47% Hispanic, 25% Caucasian and 17% African American. It also borders the Gila River Indian Reservation.
Village Hope Church desires to to be a church filled with genuine believers who positively impact Laveen, Phoenix, Arizona and the world with the gospel.

NAMB Church Planting
Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity. If you are interested in pursuing next steps as a potential missionary or chaplain from your church, explore the possibilities at namb.net/send-me.
