About My Family
Hello! I’m Edwin, and the Lord has called me and my family to plant a church in San Diego. I was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. I met my wife, Shirley, in New Orleans, Louisiana, while serving at a church plant there. Together we have been part of multiple church plants and have seen people saved.
Also, we welcomed our son during the pandemic in 2020.
Our family is centered on Jesus and His call for our lives. He led us to minister in California, and since then we have felt a desire and burden for the city of San Diego. Shirley and I love music! Gathering around the gospel and instruments is one of our passions. We are expectant that the Lord will use us in the way He sees fit for His glory.

About My Church Plant
We desire to plant Selah Church in the North Park and City Heights neighborhoods of San Diego. San Diego is a diverse city in need of healthy churches. The unique part of our call is that we are planting a bilingual ministry. Our hearts groan for the Latino communities in this city. We want to see a movement of God, raising up leaders, multiplying churches in California and seeing the gospel transform lives.

NAMB Church Planting
Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.
