About My Family

I serve as the pastor and planter of Manuia Bible Fellowship. My wife, Lucy, and I have served in ministry continuously for 34 years. We thank God for that. Also we served in and have retired from military service.

Before church planting, we served 26 years at Happy Valley Baptist Church in American Samoa. I served as an associational missions strategist for 17 years and as overseer of church-sponsored Samoa Baptist Academy (preschool to 8th grade) for 26 years. As pastor and missions director, we assisted in planting more than 10 churches.

Currently our new church plant, Manuia Bible Fellowship (MFB), is in her second year. Our Sending Church is Aina Haina Baptist Church of Honolulu, which is under the Hawaii/Pacific Baptist Convention.

About My Church Plant

MFB was dedicated April 17, 2022, at Aina Haina Baptist Church. Our ministry is focused on Samoan-speaking prospects in our location.

Our giving to the Cooperative Program this month was $708, and our Annie Armstrong Easter offering was $300. Our membership is 17. One of our families moved from Hawaii to Illinois for children’s scholarship. Our time of Sunday School is 2:00 pm with worship at 3:00 pm.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.

Pray that we find a suitable place to worship in the morning. We’re praying for a keyboard player to assist in our Samoan language “singspiration.” Pray for boldness to share the gospel and open hearts among the people to whom we speak. Pray that through this ministry, more people would come to saving faith and live on mission. Pray for stamina and longevity for ministry amidst attacks from the enemy. May the Lord of the Harvest continue to bring the harvest in. To God be glory! Amen.
