About My Family
As a high school student, I had the opportunity to participate in several short-term missions trips to Chicago. I immediately fell in love with the community and families living there. God truly broke my heart for the people of West Garfield Park, and I wanted to be part of what He was doing. Even in the midst of so much pain and brokenness, God was moving powerfully.
Fast-forward to 2021, I was taking classes at Arizona State University and sensed that God was leading me back to Chicago. In the summer of 2022, I moved to the Garfield Park neighborhood and began full-time ministry. God continues to move in the most broken situations to bring about His glory. I recently celebrated four years of ministry in Chicago, and I have seen God move in and through me in such powerful ways.

About My Ministry
Since moving to Garfield Park, I have been actively involved in connecting with families, mentoring children, and organizing programming. I find that the best way to create new connections with families in the neighborhood is to get involved in the local public schools.
For the past four years, I have been active in two public schools in the area, offering tutoring and social-emotional groups to students there. These partnerships have been such a blessing to me, local families, and school staff. Being in the schools gives me chances to invite students to the youth group and Sunday services at my church. For students who are more interested in pursuing a relationship with God, I have created Bible studies and discipleship groups. Praise the Lord for how I have seen Him changing hearts and lives for His glory.
