About My Family
As one who grew up in the Bible Belt of the southern United States (North Carolina) and as one who has always had access to the gospel, I am compelled to live among those who have not had the same opportunity to hear and respond to the life-giving truth that Jesus is their Saviour. Because of this, I have decided I want to spend my life in areas of the world where followers of Jesus are few.
I moved to Calgary, Alberta, Canada, at the very end of 2016 to plant my life among the people there and to join God in the ways He is working in this incredible city.

About My Church Plant
Calgary is a diverse city of 1.3 million people. Of those who call Calgary home, 95% do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Though the statistics seem daunting, God has encouraged me with this verse: "… consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you" (Joshua 3:5). I am grateful God has invited me to join Him in bringing the truth of the gospel to the lost in Calgary.
As a church planting team member in the Symons Valley community of Calgary, I desire to see my neighbours come to the knowledge and understanding of who Jesus is as they seek to fulfill the Great Commission in their neighbourhoods and countries of origin. I hope to see natives of Calgary emerge with a passion for reaching the lost. I pray that the 200+ neighborhoods in Calgary will have a gospel presence.

NAMB Church Planting
Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity.
