About My Family

Hi, my name is Emmanuel Joseph. I was born in a small town in Polk County to Caribbean parents. When I was 10, I became a follower of Jesus Christ in a Baptist church in Tampa, Fla. I began preaching at the age of 17 and began serving in various ministry roles from 2004 to 2018.

My beautiful wife, Shenique, married in 2013. We are proud parents to three wonderful kids: Grace (2016), Sadé (2020) and Zion(2023). In fall 2018, we relocated to Kansas City metropolitan for work.

In 2021, with the Lord leading, I started the church planting journey with the Send Network, and in fall of that year, I was confirmed “ready” to plant.

About My Church Plant

In 2024, we will be planting the 2819 Life Church in Kansas City. The mission of 2819 Life Church is to be a gospel-centered church, making Jesus known and make disciples.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.

Pray

Pray for the planter’s family as they work together in ministry. Pray the church will be established and will faithfully work to plant in other communities, too. Pray the Lord brings leaders who can help within the church. Pray for stamina and longevity for ministry amidst attacks from the enemy.

Participate

Build relationships with a church planter, team members and their families. Send notes of encouragement. Learn birthdays and anniversaries, so you can send gifts and cards.
Learn the church plant, its strategy and context, so you can provide relevant resources. Support a church planter financially.
