About My Family
I have lived all over the country, including South Florida, where my wife and I met and married. My wife, Danelle, and I have been married for 23 years, and we have three teenage sons: Isaac (17), David (16) and Jeremiah (16).
About My Church Plant
After serving as a senior pastor at an established church in Indianapolis for 10 years, I decided to step down and start all over again by planting a church. Having left South Florida 20 years ago (in Los Angeles for 10 years and Indianapolis for 10 years), my family and I have now returned to Miami to plant a church. It is humbling that God has asked me to prioritize the advancement of the gospel and the salvation of the lost over my comfort or conveniences. This is always a good thing.
NAMB Church Planting
Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity.
