About My Family
I met my wife, Donnell, in December of 1993, and we married in April of 1995. We are the parents of two beautiful (adult) young ladies, Shelby and Savanna. We are excited to welcome our first grandchild in October.
One of our favorite things to do is to spend time with our parents and our children. Whether on vacations, weekend visits or Sunday dinners, we recognize that the quality of the time spent far outweighs the quantity. As a result, we make the most of every moment. Donnell and I both work full-time jobs as we follow the Lord’s call to plant Life Church and be on mission in our family, our vocations and our city as we engage people with the love of Christ.

About My Church Plant
In 2000, I began to sense the call to ministry and publicly surrendered to ministry in 2002. I would spend the next 20+ years serving in the Baptist church as youth pastor, worship leader and associate pastor at three churches.
In 2023, I earned my Master of Divinity degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MBTS). While at MBTS I sensed the calling to church planting and had that confirmed by other trusted ministers and began to dream of planting Life Church. As Donnell and I look into a world that is broken, we desire to live life among the people. Looking to the example of Christ, we want to get in the proverbial weeds and minister to the outcasts, the lost and the hurting. Meeting them where they are and loving them toward the Cross. At Life Church, we desire to live “Real Life with Real People that brings Real Change.”

NAMB Church Planting
Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.
