About My Family
I was born and raised in northern Virginia in a Christian home. I came to know the Lord as a junior in high school, and I received my calling into ministry while helping with the youth at my father’s church. I’m passionate about the gospel and have a heart for the lost. My hobbies include exercising, bowling, and woodworking.
My wife’s name is Haesung. She was born and raised in South Korea. She moved to the U.S. after we got married. She came to know the Lord in college. She loves art and teaches art to children.
We have two boys, Andrew (2014) and Matthew (2016). They both play soccer, so we go to their practices and games throughout the week. We enjoy camping, playing board games, and road trips! We have been up and down the East Coast several times. We hope to drive across the U.S. someday. We strive to be missional.

About My Church Plant
We are in the process of planting a church in Manassas, Virginia. It’s a very diverse and multicultural city that’s growing. We want to reach out to the community with the gospel. We want to fulfill Luke 14:23. The Lord tells His servants to go into the highways and hedges and compel people to come in, that His house may be filled.
We fulfill this by partnering with local schools, hospitals, businesses, and other organizations to determine how we can serve the people there. We want to be salt and light for them and make a positive impact. We hope to share the love of Christ as we help our community with their needs.
Our church would be focused on worshiping God in Spirit and in truth, experiencing true fellowship among believers, making disciples who make disciples, and boldly proclaiming the gospel to the lost. To God be the glory!

NAMB Church Planting
Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.
