About My Family
Hello, everyone. I would like to introduce our family. My wife, Sunhee, and I came to Canada in 2006. I am 51 years old, and Sunhee is 50 years old. Our eldest child, Miriam, is 16. Our second child, Juvin, is 14 years old. Our third child, Juram, is 12 years old, and our youngest child, Juhae, is 9 years old. All were born here in Canada.
About My Church Plant
I am planting a church targeting Koreans here in Burnaby. My vision is to evangelize Koreans who still do not believe in God, make disciples, baptize them and plant more churches. Currently, there are approximately 70,000 Korean immigrants living in Canada, mainly concentrated in Toronto and Vancouver. And as of 2021, 50% of Korean immigrants are known to be Christians, including Catholics, but this is only in name and the actual number of church attendees is much smaller if you exclude Catholics and non-Christians. And after the COVID-19 crisis, the number is expected to decrease significantly to less than 20%.
Metro Vancouver is a gateway for Korean immigrants. They primarily migrate east through here in Greater Vancouver. So, I want to start a church here in Burnaby, Greater Vancouver, and be used to expand the kingdom of God.

NAMB Church Planting
Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.
