About My Family

My name is Francis Edwards, and I have been married to my wife, Holly, for more than 12 years. Together, we are raising three wonderful children—Emma, Cohen, and Margaret. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Ministry from Oklahoma Baptist University, a Master of Science in Adult and Higher Education from the University of Southern Maine, and a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry from East Texas Baptist University.

Professionally, I have worked in various roles in Christian Higher Education, and I currently serve as a Family Intervention Specialist with St. Francis Ministries. I also have more than 20 years of ministry experience, serving in roles including youth and college ministry, sports ministry, and prison chaplaincy. Our family currently attends and serves as volunteers at Encounter City Church in Killeen, Texas.

About My Church Plant

Although I grew up in the United States, it has been my prayer for more than 20 years to be involved in church planting in Canada, and ultimately that prayer was answered as God has called me to start The Table Community Church (TCC) in Chilliwack, British Columbia. The TCC was inspired by the early church, which devoted itself to the breaking of bread, the study of Scripture, and selfless living.

The vision of TCC is a fellowship of believers that exists to prepare a seat for others to encounter Jesus’ teaching at God’s banquet, to share life in a Spirit-filled community, and to live out the gospel as an invitation to the feast (Acts 2:42-48). As we gather, grow, and go together, we will look to glorify God, build disciples, equip the saints for ministry, and multiply the local church.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.

Pray

Pray that we can faithfully live out our call to bring people to experience God at His table. Pray that we as a church will echo the wisdom of Solomon, that God will do the building, and that we do not labor in vain. Pray that we steward the servants and resources they have sent with us well. Pray that we will continue to trust in all of God’s provision as we settle, that our children will be encouraged, and that our energy is focused in the correct area for our home and ministry.
