About My Family
Yokwe, (greeting word for Hello)!
We are the Joklur family—Freddy, Terryuko and our two wonderful sons, Piano (16) and Stephen (8). We come from the Marshall Islands and have made our home here in the United States, where God has opened opportunities for us to serve.
Our home is a place of welcome and fellowship. We love gathering friends, neighbors and church family for worship, prayer and encouragement. Terryuko is a strong support in this ministry, faithfully caring for our family and helping to create an environment of love and hospitality.
Our son Piano, 16, was born with a heart for worship. He currently serves as a worship director at Valleypoint Church. Stephen, our youngest, was born here in the States and is full of energy, joy and curiosity as he grows in faith.

About My Church Plant
We have planted a Marshallese-speaking church in Medical Lake, Wash., with a heart to build bridges between cultures and point others to Jesus Christ. Our ministry focuses on worship, discipleship and creating a welcoming space where people can experience God’s love and hope.
NAMB Church Planting
Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.
