About My Family

My wife, Cheryl, and I completed more than 30 years of ministry in Vermont in January of 2017. We were involved in evangelism, discipleship, church planting, Green Mountain Association leadership and were on the Baptist Convention of New England board of directors.

Together we assisted in seven church plants in Vermont. I assisted in working with the leadership teams in the new plants. I also mentored new church planters, assisted in permitting for church ministry facilities and networked with area churches in southern Vermont.

In 2017, we relocated to central Pennsylvania to assist in new church planting field preparation. The move also allowed us to be closer to our aging parents so we can assist them in everyday life.

About My Ministry

We have teamed up with Carlisle Baptist Church in this new ministry. We currently are living in an unfinished hunting cabin in the woods of Perry County.

We have begun developing relationships with Amish neighbors and Perry County residents. Our ministry includes providing hunting opportunities, respite for local pastors and missionaries who are on home assignment.

Pray

Pray for special event planning for November–December evangelism training - The Way of the Master (www.livingwaters.com). Pray for special event planning January–February discipleship training (www.emotionally healthy.org). Pray several couples will be identified to lead grief share program for the county (www.griefshare.org). Pray for the 2023 deer camp preparation. 2023 Florida condo updates- kitchen and bath ceiling replacement, tub/shower replacement. Pray for leadership training for new elders at church plant. Pray for the completion of the hunting camp, inside walls, kitchen and bath.

Participate

You can participate in this ministry with one time gifts toward the cabin finish or regular monthly support as a praying and giving partner. You can come to Pennsylvania and assist by cutting firewood or if you have construction skills assist in the cabin project. You can pray for the Lord’s protection and supply as we seek to share the gospel and disciple new believers.
