About My Family
I was born in Havana, Cuba, in 1963. I graduated from university in 1988 with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry, specializing in microbiology. I began to know the Lord when I had a personal encounter with Him. This changed my life and strongly motivated to answer His call to serve Him.
In 1993, the Lord allowed me to marry the perfect helper in my wife, Mayren. Mayren has been by my side all these years supporting me in the ministry and serving in different functions in the church. She is my faithful companion.

About My Church Plant
In 1995, we planted our first church. Then in 2000, we planted our second church. Both churches are in Cuba. We have studied different theology courses, earning a bachelor’s degree in theology with an emphasis on missiology. I am responding to the call of the Lord found in Matthew 28:18-29. We started planting this new church in the city of Homestead, Fla., near Miami. We are grateful for the help and collaboration of the North American Mission Board in this process. We are seeing fruit, thanks to God’s support.
NAMB Church Planting
Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.
