About My Family

I was born and raised in rural North Carolina. I met my wife, Laura, in high school, and we have been married since 2011. I am very blessed to have her has a helper and companion. We have two children whom we love dearly.

I am blessed to coach my kids’ sports teams. I find this to be a mission field in itself. As a family, when we are not at practice or a game, we enjoy spending time together. Our favorite place is anywhere with some sand and saltwater.

We enjoy fishing of all kinds. We also like to hang out and play board games with family and friends. I am a huge sports fan, especially when it comes to football and baseball. Go Seahawks, and go Braves!

I was called into ministry at a young age and have served in many ministry roles since 2011. Most recently, God has called us to plant a church in our hometown.

About My Church Plant

True Point Church’s goal is to point people in our community to a life-changing relationship with Jesus. We started as a small Bible study in our friends’ living room. Over time, God has faithfully brought us leaders and team members to help build His church. We want to see lives changed and our town transformed by the gospel.

Our church is centered around the concept of community- people “doing life” together, living out their faith together, and sharing their struggles and their victories. We believe that when we spend time together, we are better able to push one another to abide in God, love those around us, lead ourselves and others to a deeper walk with God, and give cheerfully of our time, treasures and talents to help advance God’s kingdom.

We plan to launch with our first worship service on September 15, 2024.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.

Pray

Please pray that God will continue to provide us the support we need, both financially, physically (manpower), emotionally and spiritually. Also, you can pray for opportunities for us and our team to build relationships with those around us that will ultimately point people to Jesus and make disciples who make disciples. Finally, we ask for prayer for us as we face spiritual attacks along this journey. Pray that we will be quick to recognize the enemy’s strategies and quick to lean on the One who has already won the victory.
