About My Family
Qua and I have been married for five years. God has blessed us with two kids, a 1-year-old and a 2-year-old. Our hearts and hands are full.
God called me to ministry in 2008 and I began serving God in various ministry capacities. In 2014, I became a full-time pastor at Tulsa Vietnamese Baptist Church. In 2017, my wife and I moved to Louisville, Ky., where I serve as a pastor in a Vietnamese Baptist church.
In September 2020, God broke my heart for the Asian Americans in Tulsa, Okla., because many of them do not know the redemptive grace of Jesus Christ. Therefore, our family of four relocated to Tulsa to plant Broken Rice Baptist Church.

About My Church Plant
More than 24,000 Asian Americans live in Tulsa County. Within the county, there are roughly 10 Asian ethnic Protestant churches consisting of 20–400 attendees with a primary focus on their respective ethnicity. Not one is primarily reaching multiethnic Asian Americans. In September of 2020, God stirred in me a need to proclaim His saving grace to them. The field is ready to harvest.
In September 2021, Riverview Baptist Church officially became our amazing Sending Church. January 16, 2022, they had a commissioning service to send us out into the mission field to proclaim the gospel and advance the kingdom of God. We are truly humbled by their love and care for us in this journey of planting Broken Rice Baptist Church.
We gather each Friday for a Bible study in Acts. Each month, we have worship service and preach through John.
