About My Family

I was 26 years old when the Lord saved me and radically changed my heart. A few years later, He was kind enough to bless me with my wife, Ashley. Since then, we’ve been on mission together, and I couldn’t be more thankful. We have five amazing kids—Nora, Ezra, Tobias, Zechariah, and Evelyn. As you can imagine, there’s never a dull moment in our home, but we wouldn’t have it any other way! We’re grateful for the opportunity to care for our children by showing them the love of Christ in our marriage and or parenting. We just want God to use us to make His name great in whatever way He sees fit.

When we’re not doing school or ministry, Ash and I try to make time for regular date nights. We also enjoy going to the park and having our family movie nights with the kiddos.

About My Church Plant

Eight years ago, the Lord called me into ministry, and I moved to Clarkston, Georgia, to engage in local missions. My wife and I spent more than six years there, raising our family and ministering to our refugee neighbors and international students.

During that time, our burden for the nations was combined with a burden for the local church. This led us to seek the Lord with open hands, asking for guidance on how He wanted to use our family. That’s when the door opened to join the church planting team at Gospel Hope Church.

Despite having so many cherished relationships in Clarkston, in 2024, we transitioned and have since been laboring to reach our neighbors in East Atlanta. God has shown His kindness in so many ways. Our ultimate prayer is that the Lord would use us to help build His church and fulfill the Great Commission!

NAMB Church Planting

Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.

Pray

Pray that the Lord will sustain us and give us wisdom as we balance ministry with homeschooling and caring for our children and extended family. Life can be a lot, but we want to be faithful, not just busy. Also, pray that the people of Gospel Hope will be a church that remains gospel-centered, loves one another, and engages in mission. You could also pray that the Lord would raise up laborers to serve and be sent. And lastly, pray for protection from the enemy’s schemes and that we’d persevere in faith no matter the season.

Participate

Please let us know if you’re ever nearby. We’d love to grab coffee, lunch, or just hang out. Emails, letters, and video calls are always welcome. Most importantly, let us know how we can pray for you!
