About My Family

I am Ismail Succes Jean Baptiste. As a little boy, I remember one of my uncles said, “Look at your eyes. You look like a pastor. You will become a pastor.”

I accepted Jesus when I was 12 years old. I started attending Bethel Church. My pastor at that time saw the gift I have inside me and immediately involved me in children’s ministry, where I started teaching Bible verses to children.

I continue to follow Jesus every day of my life. People in the village started calling me pastor. There my conviction started to build as a young man looking to step into my calling.

I am married my mission sweetheart, Bethany Succes Jean Baptiste. Together we have two beautiful children. JJ is 7, and our daughter, Arie, is 4.

My wife currently serves as the worship director for Randall Church. I serve as a church planting resident at the church.

About My Church Plant

I have been involved in numerous ministries, before and after I was baptized. Accompanying my senior pastor, Rev. Delius Petit Frere, we went to the mountain to plant another church. I moved on to work to another ministry. I was one of the assistant children’s pastors, VBS coordinator, youth group secretary until I move on to created Dream Haiti in 2012.

Everyone creates with a special gift inside of them. Many people do not know and understand how great and magnificent that God created them. My mission is to help every one of them to discover their God-given talents. My family and I are agreeing this is the right place for us to advance the work of the kingdom of God. We want to plant a multiethnic church in Buffalo, where all people are welcome and able to meet God for a better future.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.

Pray

Pray for boldness to share the gospel and open hearts among the people to whom we speak. Pray that through this ministry, more people would come to saving faith and live on mission. Pray for stamina and longevity for ministry amidst attacks from the enemy.

Participate

Let’s build relationships together. Send us notes of encouragement. I am open and willing to meet with you if you are in Buffalo or the surrounding area. I am also open to a 30–45-minute Zoom call.
Learn the ministry strategy and context, so you can provide relevant resources. Support a missionary financially.
