About My Family

My wife, Amber, and I have been married for 16 years. We have three boys—Elijah (14), Caleb (12) and Malachi (10). As a family, we love to serve the Lord in the church and in the world. We also enjoy being outdoors, traveling to new places, playing board games and fellowshipping with friends and family.

About My Church Plant

Two years ago, I was in Edinburgh, Scotland, at a Pillar Network International Conference meeting the locals to set up for a mission trip for my former church. I was a deacon, the men’s director and helped with missions at the time.

A few new brothers in the faith and I, went out for gelato and kilt shopping. While I was looking at kilts, Dave Kiehn, a pastor from South Carolina, told me that my gift was not a deacon, but a pastor. He went on to ask me if I had ever considered being a pastor. I told Pastor Dave that I had always thought I couldn’t be a good pastor due to dyslexia and my struggles with it. Dave told me to take a leap of faith and do a pastoral internship and see where God takes me.

In 2024, I completed the pastoral internship in Cedar Key, Fla., and I am now planting a church in Marianna, Fla.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.

Pray

Pray for boldness to share the gospel and open hearts among the people to whom we speak. Pray that through this ministry more people would come to saving faith in Jesus Christ and live on mission. Pray for stamina and longevity for ministry amidst attacks from the enemy. Pray for God to grow His church spiritually most importantly, and numerically as He sees fit. Pray for faithful workers to help in the church plant and for elders to help shepherd the flock.
