About My Family

I am a missionary serving in the International District of Houston, Texas. I disciple, teach guitar, teach English and serve on Nations Church Houston's leadership team as the volunteer coodinator. I am also in the process of studying biblical counseling at seminary to better equip myself for the field of missionary care.
Houston is one of the most diverse cities in the U.S. with more than 350 people groups. In reaching these people groups with the gospel, we will be able to reach the world.

About My Church Plant

Nations Church Houston is a multiethnic church plant that has the goal of planting 50 multiethnic churches in Houston over the next 20 years. With a focus in discipleship, the church uses relationship and direct evanglism to see many come to the kingdom of Christ.
"And Jesus came and said to them, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age'" (Matthew 28:18-20).

NAMB Church Planting

Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity. If you are interested in pursuing next steps as a potential missionary or chaplain from your church, explore the possibilities at namb.net/send-me.

Pray

For more churches to come and partner with us for a week or weekend in reaching the nations. For receptive hearts among the people in the apartment complexes and communities we serve. For our new church's place of worship and gathering to allow growth. For more ministry partners join me on this kingdom journey. For my entry back at school after five years to go smoothly.
