About My Family
I am 23 years old and a recent graduate from California Baptist University (CBU/Cal Baptist) in Riverside, Calif. I am currently pursuing a staff position in discipleship ministries at my university, where I grew significantly in my faith during my time as a student.
I’m the second oldest in a family of seven, with siblings ranging in age from 26 all the way down to 8 years old. I am blessed to have parents who instilled the gospel into me from a young age and showed me honestly the “highs and lows” of vocational ministry as well as a desire to selflessly serve and disciple others. I am excited to now pass what I learned at CBU down to the next generation of students by ministering on discipleship staff at Cal Baptist.

About My Ministry
Only one-third of the students at CBU claim Christianity. Discipleship staff at CBU believe college students are a strategic affinity group for spiritual growth because they are reachable, teachable and sendable. We believe the best way to disciple students at CBU is by “investing in lives to develop followers of Jesus.” This means that we live life alongside students, following the ways of discipleship that Jesus modeled and other believers continued. Tangibly, this will look like choosing affinities of students on campus with whom I can live life, study the Bible and teach skills and provide tools to develop spiritual growth.
