About My Family
We are the Escalona family, a Venezuelan family who left everything to fulfill God’s calling. Living in our homeland, in our comfort zone, God placed in our hearts the desire to leave our country and come to preach in the United States and to reach the Hispanic community.
After a time of prayer, the God who established the calling began to work great miracles on our behalf, allowing us to come to this beautiful country and to be part of the Great Commission He has placed in our hands. One of the Lord’s miracles was when we were granted a U.S. visa to enter this country. We followed His voice and His direction, and, in obedience, we left everything (Matthew 16:24) to follow His cause. What a privilege to serve a living God together with my wife, Nohelia, my daughter, Sofia, and my son Abiel.

About My Church Plant
God, in His mercy, called me and my family to serve in this country (1 Corinthians 1:1). I worked as a teacher in my home country, and my wife worked as a certified public accountant for many years. After a time of prayer, He opened the doors for us to develop our ministry in North Carolina, where we now reside (Genesis 12:1).
We have been in this country for almost eight years, following extensive training as a youth minister, a worship leader, a missionary and in other roles I have served in ministry. Since our arrival, we have served in the same local church and have been sent to other areas to restore churches.
We continue to serve with love and joy. We firmly believe that not only will the Hispanic community be impacted by the work God has done and will continue to do, but other languages will also be able to learn about Jesus.

NAMB Church Planting
Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.
