About My Family
I’ve been a first responder for 15+ year and between my ministry calling and several series of events in the course of being a first responder drove my passion to become a chaplain. I’m married to the woman of my dreams, Luka. I’m the bonus dad to the spunkiest kid in town, Kenton. Our dog, Molly, is a 2-year-old Aussie Doodle who thinks she runs the entire house.

About My Ministry
I’m an SBC-endorsed volunteer fire chaplain with the Middle Creek Volunteer Fire Department. Also, as the co-founder of a budding regional Critical Incident Stress Management/ Mental Health response team, I work to provide holistic chaplaincy and mental health support, resources and awareness education to first responders in all fields. My passion and drive is to show first responders the help, hope and healing found only in Jesus Christ.
SBC Chaplaincy
Chaplaincy is a vital frontline ministry and extension of the local church. Chaplains reach the lost among the thousands of men and women in the U.S. Armed Forces, correctional facilities, healthcare settings, public safety, disaster relief sites, and corporate environments. SBC Chaplains care for the broken, offer hope to the hopeless, and advance the gospel of Jesus Christ in hard-to-reach places.
The qualifications expected of a Southern Baptist applying for endorsement as a chaplain or counselor are established by their institution and the Chaplains Commission, SBC. These qualification requirements vary according to the type of chaplaincy or counseling ministry involved but all are expected to meet a high level of ministerial competence.
