About My Family
My name is Jared, and I am 41 years old. I accepted Jesus as Lord of my life on February 7, 2017. Since then, my life has been radically different.
I have a wonderful wife of two years and two great step-sons. I created and lead a Christian addiction recovery group at our church that I call Living Beyond Addiction Christian Recovery.

About My Ministry
5:18 Ambassadors is born from my own experience of brokenness and the transformative power of Jesus. Having walked the paths of addiction, homelessness, incarceration and poverty, I’m driven to serve the underserved.
As part of strengthening communities, we serve the most vulnerable: those battling addiction, experiencing homelessness, recently released from prison, incarcerated and struggling with poverty. Inspired by 2 Corinthians 5:18-20 (“God … reconciled us to himself through Christ … we are … Christ’s ambassadors”), we offer hope and healing through reconciliation with Christ.
My lived experience and deep empathy allow me to connect with others, offering practical assistance and the unwavering hope of the gospel.
