About My Family

I am a local pastor in Louisville, Kentucky, and serve as a Compassion Ministry Catalyst with NAMB. I am married to my incredible wife of 21 years, Kari. We have three children—Izaak, Samuel, and Ruth.

About My Ministry

Our church was planted in the heart of our city’s international neighborhood, where God has brought the nations to our doorstep. Through a couple of key ministries, we build relationships with our refugee and immigrant neighbors as a bridge to the gospel. Our 2.5-acre Refugee Community Garden is tended by gardeners from around the world, offering something familiar amid a new and unfamiliar culture. We also provide a monthly food pantry, giving God’s people the joy of sharing bread and the Bread of Life with our neighbors.

Through these tangible, hands-on ministries, we mobilize members to engage with our international neighbors: building relationships, praying with them, and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. Our prayer is that God would use food and soil — ordinary things — to draw people from every nation to himself.

Pray

Pray for boldness to share the gospel and open hearts among the people to whom we speak. Pray that through this ministry, more people would come to saving faith and live on mission. Pray for stamina and longevity for ministry amidst attacks from the enemy.
