About My Family

I have been living and ministering in Las Vegas for 13 years with my 17-year-old daughter, Cora, and my husband, Josh (married in February of 2020). We’re expecting our second daughter very soon! Originally born and raised in Madison, Mississippi, I am now very happy to be in this dry desert home!

About My Ministry

Tropicana Christian Fellowship (TCF) is a multiethnic, multigenerational Southern Baptist church serving the urban population of Las Vegas, Nevada. TCF has its roots as the original “Church on the Strip” and is still active in ministry to casino workers to this day.

I serve as the church ministry assistant and treasurer, while Josh is the volunteer worship leader. TCF is a wonderful church body with a core congregation of approximately 25 members. Being a Mission Service Corps missionary enables me to serve as a full-time church staff member, alongside part-time pastor Byron Fielder. Josh works full time as an audio lead technician at a casino/convention center on the Strip.

Pray

Pray for direction for church leadership and members. TCF will be making significant changes in 2026, including a move to a new location. We know that God is still working in our church and our neighborhood! Pray for the people of urban Las Vegas, a city marked by outrageous sin, extreme loneliness, and very little gospel presence. Please pray over me as I homeschool Cora and raise her in a city that is often hostile to the gospel. We are expecting a new baby in February 2026, so pray for our transition to a family of four.

I am currently seeking partners in ministry to Las Vegas. Please prayerfully consider how you might partner in this mission. Pray for Josh, Cora, and me as we live our lives intentionally in our community every day.
