About My Family

My wife, Jihye, and I have four children. Our oldest son, Yohan (grade 9), has just begun high school. Yoseph (grade 6), Sarang (grade 4), and our youngest, Chanyang (grade 1), are all adjusting well at West Oak Public School as our family settles into life in Canada.

God has called my wife and me to plant a church among immigrants in Ontario. By His grace, we arrived in September 2024 and are now serving in Oakville. We devote ourselves to evangelism, prayer, and building a gospel-centered community where people from diverse cultures can belong in Christ.

About My Church Plant

We have just begun planting the first seeds of ministry through weekly gatherings in our home. These meetings include Bible reading, prayer, and fellowship. Though still in its infancy, we trust God to grow this ministry and bring more people into the fellowship. Opening our home for meals and conversation is also a vital part of our mission, as we seek to show Christ’s love in practical ways.

Our vision is that Living Church will be a place of grace where immigrants encounter Christ, grow in faith, and are equipped to plant new churches for the glory of God.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.

Pray

Pray that Living Church in Oakville will be rooted in prayer and the Word. Pray for my wife and me as we reach out to immigrants with the gospel and hospitality. Pray for new believers to grow in discipleship and for leaders to be raised up. Pray for provision, strength, and protection in this early stage of church planting.
