About My Family
Hi! My name is Jesse, and I am from Oklahoma City, Okla. In May of 2024, I graduated from Oklahoma State University (OSU) but felt the Lord was calling for me to stay in Stillwater. The Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM) played an invaluable role throughout my time at OSU, and I’m thankful to God He let me continue serving in this way. The BCM poured into my life immensely, giving me my best friends, allowing me to have tons of fun, and most importantly by giving me an opportunity to dive deep into my faith in the midst of a secular college. The people who showed this love to me truly showed me what it means to serve like Christ would, and my heart is to do just the same.
About My Ministry
Within the BCM, I will be serving as a coordinator for our weekly worship gathering. The BCM serves hundreds of students through this ministry each week. My job is to help our student leaders create a welcoming environment where people can enter the presence of God and worship Him fully, and then hear what God has to say from His Scripture and apply it to their lives.
Additionally, I will serve as our small group coordinator, helping our student leaders connect with other students where they will weekly dive into the Word and learn how to live more like Christ. Both of these ministries serve as a means to equip our leaders, mobilize missionaries of the gospel, grow in discipleship relationships with others, and share the good news of Jesus Christ with those who don’t know Him. I can't wait to serve!
