About My Family
Hi, we’re Jesse and Carrie Danner.
I (Jesse) have been incredibly blessed to have parents who love Jesus and spent the better part of their lives in ministry, faithfully serving our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. They modeled a life of perseverance and purpose—pressing on, as Paul describes in Philippians 3. God continued to bless me by bringing into my life a mother- and father-in-law who embody the heart of a true servant. They raised a beautiful, Christ-loving woman—Carrie—who has been my bride for more than 17 years.
Carrie and I met while serving on the summer staff at a Christian camp called Caswell, off the coast of North Carolina. We now have three children: Bryson (15), Carsie Grace (9), and Lawrence Rae (5).

About My Church Plant
We currently live and serve in a region where fewer than 2% of the population identify as evangelical Christians. It’s also an area marked by deep poverty and a striking lack of church planting—less than 1% of national church planting efforts focus here. Yet God has clearly opened the door for our family to relocate from North Carolina to Massachusetts, with the desire to see gospel flourishing take root in this spiritually dry land.
We are currently members of Grace Harbor Church in New Bedford, Mass., an existing church plant that is training and equipping us to be sent out to plant a new gospel-preaching church. We are prayerfully considering New Bedford, Fall River, or Fairhaven as potential locations for this future church.

NAMB Church Planting
Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.
