About My Family

I am a Maryland native who made my way to Lacey, Washington, through the United States Army, where I honorably served for 20 years. During my military service, I met my beloved wife, Sharon, in Tacoma, Washington. We were married in 1982 and have been faithfully walking life’s journey together ever since.

We have been blessed with four children and six grandchildren, who bring great joy and help keep us young at heart. We enjoy taking walks and exploring the beauty of Washington State—from the serene coastal beaches to the breathtaking views of Mount Rainier. Above all, we are passionate about sharing the love of Jesus Christ with everyone we encounter.

About My Church Plant

Our Mission

At His House Baptist Church, our mission is to create a welcoming environment where everyone can build genuine relationships and make a lasting impact for Christ within our community and throughout the world.

We are committed to reaching out to our community, identifying real needs, and responding with Christlike love and service.

With a large military presence in Lacey, we seek to provide a warm and caring church home where individuals and families can connect, worship, and experience God’s love in a meaningful way. Our goal is to make disciples who are equipped and sent out to share the gospel to the four corners of the world.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.

Pray

Pray for our family as we work together in ministry. Pray the church will be established and will faithfully work to plant in other communities, too. Pray the Lord will bring leaders who can help within the church. Pray for stamina and longevity for ministry amidst attacks from the enemy.
