About My Family
McKayla, my wife, and I are originally from Washington State. We first met at Washington State University (WSU) where we got involved with Resonate Church, started dating and eventually got married. Most of our family still lives in Washington, but we moved to Utah to plant a church at the University of Utah in 2021.
McKayla has a bachelor’s degree in zoology and a master’s in teaching from WSU. She worked as a high-school teacher for two years in Pullman, Was., before we moved to Salt Lake, where she joined the staff of our church.
I graduated WSU with a degree in materials science and engineering, but early in my college career felt the Lord calling me to full-time ministry and church planting. I graduated in 2019 and have been working for Resonate Church ever since. We are passionate about reaching and discipling college students.

About My Church Plant
McKayla and I moved to Salt Lake City in 2021 to start a Resonate Church at the University of Utah. We moved with a team of about 15 young professionals, recent graduates and current students to start the church.
Our primary mission field is the campus, but we also have hopes of reaching beyond the campus into the community as our church grows. We have already seen God moving by saving numerous students and beginning to transform their lives. The ground here in Salt Lake City is hard, but we believe in the power of God will break the bondage of darkness in this city and state.

NAMB Church Planting
Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.
