About My Family
Virginia and I live in Providence, R.I., with our six children: Isaac, Asa, Jadon, Rosa, LeAnnah and Elise. We are members of Grace Harbor Church in Providence.
About My Ministry
Fostering Hope exists to help churches and individuals care for children, families and professionals impacted by foster care. We call our vision Project Zero. We dream of a day when ZERO children in foster care are waiting for a safe, supportive family. Ideally and as often as possible, that family turns out to be the child's family of origin through the process of family reunification and preservation. In the meantime, there is an urgent need for temporary foster and permanent adoptive families.
Our role is to help churches make service to the foster care community a sustainable part of the ministry culture of their church community. We especially focus on helping churches raise up new families, wrap around existing families, support birth families and encourage child welfare professionals.
