About My Family

I live in Broward, Fla., with my wife, Orietta, and our two children, Laura (23) and José Daniel (18).

I am originally from the Dominican Republic (D.R.), where I served as a church planter, associate pastor and Sunday School teacher for almost 30 years. I was a consultant for LifeWay for more than six years.

I have completed graduate studies in Christian education, biblical theology and biblical ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and am completing a master’s degree in missions at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Orietta is also from the D.R., which is where we met. We were married in 1993. Orietta worked for 26 years as a preschool, elementary and university level teacher in the D.R. She has worked as a preschool and Spanish teacher in private and public educational institutions in the U.S.

About My Church Plant

God has charged my soul and given me a vision and a longing to see planted an authentic community church of believers, where God is glorified, Christ is the center of all things, the Bible is the absolute rule of faith and life, and where we try to reach all the lost through the grace of God and through the power of the gospel of Christ as described in the book of Acts.

What God wants us to accomplish in these communities (Sunrise, Weston, West Davie and Southwest Ranches) is a modern replica of a community church based on Christ and through the proclamation of His gospel of inexhaustible grace.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.

Pray

Pray for us as we work together in ministry. Pray the church will be established and will faithfully work to plant in other communities, too. Pray the Lord brings leaders who can help within the church. Pray for stamina and longevity for ministry amidst attacks from the enemy.
