About My Family
I am originally from Cuba, and my family and I came to the United States in 2004. In 2018, I came to know the Lord through a local church in Florida, which was a turning point in my life. The following year, I came to the University of Virginia, where I soon became involved in Center Church and Center College. The support and growth I’ve had through Center Church have been invaluable to me.
In addition, the Lord has blessed me with a loving family. I recently married Laura, who is an amazing partner in life and ministry. We are also excited to welcome our first child, a daughter, in September of this year!

About My Church Plant
In my role as a college staff resident for Center Church, my ministry focus is on reaching, discipling and sending the students of the University of Virginia (UVA) with the gospel of Jesus Christ. This involves evangelizing on the university’s campus, equipping believers to pursue Christ faithfully, and connecting these students to the local church.
At Center Church, we believe that the local church is God’s means of facilitating fully formed disciples. Therefore, we seek to provide an environment where students can grow in their faith and become equipped to take the hope of the gospel to the nations after graduation. As a college staff resident, I am excited to play a vital role in this mission and to see the transformative power of the gospel in the lives of UVA students.

NAMB Church Planting
Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.
