About My Family
Joanna and I have a heart for people and a passion to see lives changed by the love of Jesus. Together we have served in ministry for many years, and now God has called us to plant Light Community Church in northern Virginia, a multicultural church where all nations and generations can find belonging and hope in Christ.
We have two amazing sons, Jesus and Christopher, who bring joy, creativity, and energy to everything they do, and two beloved dachshunds, Jack Jack and Sally, who are always part of the family adventure. We love connecting with people, serving our community, and shining the light of Jesus wherever we go.

Light Community Church exists to help people find hope and shine the light of Jesus in northern Virginia. Our vision is One Church, All Nations, All Generations, All Together in Christ.
We are passionate about reaching our neighbors, making disciples, strengthening families, and sharing the hope of Jesus with people from every background. Through biblical teaching, authentic community, worship, prayer, and serving others, we seek to help people take their next step with Jesus.
We desire to be a church that reflects the diversity of northern Virginia while pointing people to the life-changing love of Christ. Together, we believe we can be the light our community needs.

NAMB Church Planting
Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.
