About My Family

I am a fourth generation pastor and a third generation church planter. In 2008, I graduated from Ouachita Baptist University with a degree in biblical studies and, in 2014, I graduated from Southwestern Seminary with a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree.

I am married to Jacqueline, who has her master's degree and licensure in counseling from Dallas Baptist University.

We have three children, Evelyn, Clara and Jonathan.

About My Church Plant

I have served in churches in various roles since 2004. I have led worship, served in student ministry, college ministry, young adult and young married ministry, discipleship and groups ministry, been a multi-site campus pastor and senior lead team member and now lead pastor. I was ordained in 2010, the year I began pursuing my M.DIV. in Texas.

After spending four years planting a multi-site church campus in north Louisiana, Jacqueline and I began to feel God's call to plant an autonomous church in spring of 2020. God used a time of prayer and fasting to lead us to Romans 15:20-21, which became the foundation for ultimately planting in Loveland, Colo. We have been joined already by two other families who seek to make a kingdom impact in northern Colorado!

NAMB Church Planting

Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.

Pray

Pray for boldness to share the gospel and open hearts among the people we encounter. Pray that through this ministry, more people would come to saving faith and live on mission. Pray for stamina and longevity for ministry amidst attacks from the enemy. Pray for our families, especially our children, as we transition to a spiritually hungry environment where the devil loves to attack planters' spouses and children alongside the planter. Pray also that God would clearly provide in each step of the journey. There is a great cost in planting in this area, but the cost is worth it!
