About My Family

My family and I are (mostly) native Texans. Gail and I met in college and married shortly after graduation. We have been married more than 10 years and have two amazing children: Jonah and JJ.

Coffee in the morning and tea in the evening are musts in our house, and some form of chocolate or candy keeps finding its way into our pantry!

I have a bachelor's degree in practical theology from Howard Payne University and a master's degree in religious education from Liberty University. I have formally served the church on staff for more than 12 years.

About My Church Plant

Currently I serve Maranatha Baptist Church in an associate pastor. This involves interacting with children, youth and young families as well as organizing missions events and teams. I also support the church through an administrative role.

Maranatha is currently transitioning from a mono-ethnic church to a multi-ethnic body of believers. We truly desire to be "A House of Prayer for All Nations."

Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.

Pray

Pray for the planter’s family as they work together in ministry. Pray the church will be established and will faithfully work to plant in other communities, too. Pray the Lord brings leaders who can help within the church. Pray for stamina and longevity for ministry amidst attacks from the enemy. Pray for the Lord to bring financial peace. Pray for opportunities to share the gospel.
