About My Family

I am blessed to be married to my wife, Jill, who is my best friend and partner in ministry. We have been married 14 years. We are also blessed to have four awesome kids: Cason, Paxton, Kinsley and Paisley. Together we have lots of fun and continue to learn what it means to be a family on mission!

About My Church Plant

We are planting a church on the Western Slope of Colorado in the city of Grand Junction. We hope to move into neighborhoods and other pockets of the community and point people to Jesus by planting missional communities all over the city and by serving our community (showing tangible acts of love), all for the glory of God.

NAMB Church Planting

Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity. If you are interested in pursuing next steps as a potential missionary or chaplain from your church, explore the possibilities at namb.net/send-me.

Pray

For churches as they partner with us and continue to impact their local communities at the same time. For other churches to come alongside us and support us prayerfully, financially and with missions teams. For receptive hearts among the people in our community (our neighbors, shop owners and others we meet). For our family as we continue to adjust to a new area and build friendships both inside and outside the church. For the Father to send more workers into His harvest to join us or to plant other churches.

Participate

Connect as a Sending Church or a Supporting Church with our work. Commit to long-term missions support with River City Church. Be involved in other ways of supporting our church and family. Pray for our family and our church core team.
Many missionaries build a team to join their ministry in prayer, participation, and provision. These friends, family and churches support missionaries beyond the tithes and offerings given within the church plant. Visit sendnetwork.com/PlanterFunding for NAMB's policy on providing for church plants.
