About My Family
Hello, I am so glad you are here! My name is Julie Fillebrown. I am a middle child from a wonderful family of five. I grew up in southern Maryland. I graduated from Salisbury University (SU) in May of 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in geographic information science.
I am passionate about connecting through friendships with the students on SU’s campus and hope to make an eternal impact as a missionary in this upcoming academic year. I spent four years as a student on campus and three of those years I was a residential assistant helping students living on campus.
I am acutely aware of the culture and needs of the student community at Salisbury University. That is why I am so passionate about remaining on campus to bring the gospel to students who desperately need to know and live in the truth of Jesus Christ.

About My Ministry
I am a collegiate missionary at Salisbury University working with the Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM). I hope to reach the campus with the gospel of Jesus Christ by engaging students with the Word. The BCM strives to connect students with Christ through discipleship, teaching and preaching the Word, and connecting students to a local church. As a collegiate missionary, my role is to carry out these principles with the intention of bringing students to know Christ. My passion is for one-on-one discipleship, talks over coffee or cornhole, having students over for dinner, and seeing new believers get baptized.
I am humbled by and grateful for the people who invest in this ministry as partners for the expansion of God’s kingdom.
